Hi everyone,
Time flies and half of November is already almost gone. The time of the year that I most <3 is finally around the corner... yes, it's Christmas! It's the time when shopping centers and Orchard Road start putting up their decoration and lights, and you see Christmas decor for sale in shops, along with hundreds and thousands of gift suggestions. It's just the atmosphere I really love, not so much the commercial aspect like sales, receiving presents... but the spirit of giving, joyous music, and wonderful sights to behold. It really makes me feel like a child again. Ok, I take back what I said about receiving presents. If you were already prepared to give me one, I'll be more than happy to receive! :P
This year, after 24 years... I finally get to have a White Christmas! It's also Naomi's first time to see real snow (we brought her to Snow City last year). So over here, instead of a family being excited looking forward to a winter wonderland, it's more like 2 kids and a Dad getting all excited. Wheee!
Before I get all dizzy from discussing where we are going, what we are preparing etc (which I will discuss in another post)... let me change to another happy topic. Weddings! Recently, two of my friends have tied the knot and Naomi and myself were invited to attend. We had a ball of a time at both weddings; thanks for inviting us! To Karen and Andrew, Dennis and Kelly, here's our warmest congratulations once again! So happy for all of you!
Here's sharing a few lovely pics of Naomi that Karen has so kindly sent me that was taken during her wedding:

Did you notice? She was dressed in the Cutie Pie Striped Tank Tutu Dress and the Beary Fine Cropped Jacket from Dreams Avenue. Do you like her outfit? :)
We were having a staycation in Sentosa that weekend thanks to my Dad's company. So we were having fun the day before at Sentosa, and went to Karen's lovely lunch wedding reception, and then went back to Sentosa to visit the S.E.A. Aquarium and Universal Studios. Naomi really loves Sentosa, I guess like all kids do. From Universal Studios, to the beaches, to the Aquarium and all that Sentosa has to offer. Except for that lion head figurine on that big ship in the Maritime Experiential Museum that you have to pass before you enter the Aquarium, she loves everything. Yes, somehow that lion head is really frightening for her. I guess because it actually moves, looks menacing and has red eyes, like how a monster should be:
Well, it's that stone lion head in the picture. Are your kids afraid of it, or have something similar that they are afraid of? Please do share how you cope with it if you do. Currently, the moment she nears the aquarium, she will refuse to enter and make a big fuss due to the lion, which is situated right inside the entrance. The only way to go in is to carry her and quickly walk her in while trying to soothe her as much as we can. Even now when we ask her if she wants to go to the Aquarium again, she will say "NO, because I'm scared of the lion". What are the odds of being afraid of a lion when you go to an Aquarium? What's funnier, she actually loves real lions.
Anyway, here are some pictures I love that we took that weekend at Sentosa:
