Hi everyone,
Apologies for our absence in the blogosphere. We have been up to mischief, is what I would like to say... but it's really the mundane matters of everyday life and getting our house ready, choosing some taps and sinks and floor tiles that has been in the way of me and my trusty keyboard. Shopping for these things can be fun... but they are also tiring! The hundreds of designs of showers, taps, sinks, toilets, tiles, laminates are enough to make you go dizzy. Which is a good thing as it means we have so much options to make our house pretty, but boy.. it's really hard to choose! We have still many things to look around for... and within the next two months, we have to finish getting the essentials. Any good 'lobangs', anyone?
Thankfully, my family (parents and me and Naomi) managed to go for a short getaway before this madness. We had a great time, especially the little one. We went for a 3 days 2 night cruise on the Superstar Virgo to Redang 2 weeks ago and Naomi is still talking about "Virgo" and calling every ship she sees "Virgo" like an obsessed fan.
Here are some pictures of our little adventure on the boat and at Redang:

My favourite photos of Naomi
Yes, there are just too many photos I like of her! She's the main reason I brought along my camera anyway... hehe.
The infamous UFO catcher at the Arcade:
Yes, I think this machine deserves a picture all by itself as it has 'stole' so much money from us! We spent so much and never got anything. *shakes fists* Consider you warned!
Overall, I think it was a lovely trip and we would definitely keep cruise as a holiday option again! Food is never a problem except for maybe possible weight gain. Service crew were great and friendly, shows were exciting with magic and acrobatics, and our port of call at Redang was a great place for families especially kids to enjoy the beautiful beach.
Tomorrow, I will share a knight-themed party that Naomi and I have recently attended that has super lovely details all crafted by the mother of the birthday boy. Do keep a look out for the post!
