Hi everyone,
Yesterday, 19 September, was our wedding anniversary, so I did not manage to post as we wanted to celebrate it. Well, it was more of me bugging the hubby for a wedding anniversary dinner and so he granted my wish :P Ah, the romance... where has it all gone? (Mental note: need to bug the hubby more for some dates!)
Thus we looked around for a nice, romantic restaurant with good food that was also kinder to our pockets and still be great for our little one. Non-existent, you say? Well, truth be told I thought we couldn't find such a place, but much to our pleasant surprise... we did! At least, we didn't know it until we were there. So us family of 3 went out for a great dinner at a lovely restaurant called Dozo, which offers Japanese-French-European fusion fine dining, to celebrate our 4th anniversary. Great food, nice decor, great service and best of all, the best people for company. We had a ball of a time! I definitely recommend this lovely restaurant if you love Japanese food. I will do a separate post with photos and a review of our experience there soon!
On the topic of having a good time, I will be covering an awesome Knight themed birthday party that Naomi and I have attended recently. The details were all hand-crafted by the birthday boy's Mama, Nicole! The kids enjoyed themselves tremendously, and all the adults marvelled at her DIY skills and wonderful decor.

Decorations:
Dessert Table
The yummilicious dessert table for kids. I'm sure the adults pinched a bit from here too.
Banner lovingly designed and crafted by Nicole.

Check out all the details of the dessert table. From the knight-themed labels and crown confetti to the little flags on buckets to create a castle-like appearance. Fantastic!

Happy 5th Birthday Adam! Hope you had a great time and loved your presents! When you are older and look back at these photos, you'll know how much your mama loves you as she puts so much effort and time in making your party nothing less than the best! Of course, and your Papa Adrian too, for being the best game master there is, and all that clowning around to make you smile, without a care for embarrassment.
Hope you enjoyed the post and pictures as much as we enjoyed the party!
Till our next post again,
